Wikipedia to the rescue: DVI-D
I couldn’t plug my Thinkpad dock into my monitor switcher using the cables supplied with either the dock, monitor, or switcher. Finally, I looked up the diagrams in the Wikipedia article on DVI. The answer: I needed a DVI-D cable. A 99c eBay auction later, I’m all plugged up and well pleased.
